All-Natural Versus Organic
When we think in terms of all-natural versus organic it is sometimes difficult to decide what choice to make. When we examine the outcomes of our choices it becomes easier to make decisions. When making decisions we can use an all-natural mindset or our organic mindset, recognizing the difference absolutely contributes to the best outcomes and best life.
Have you ever been in the supermarket and been confused about which is a better product when deciding between all-natural versus organic? Well I have. I have learned to examine the possible outcomes to help me decide.
Food Label Definitions
In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet defined the term natural, although they regulate products from ice to cosmetics including livestock feeds. The following is the response on the FDA website related to the use of the word natural on food labels:
This allows food product manufactures to place the all-natural label on products like the red bugs used as colorant in Starbucks’ Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino. In response to public reaction, after the colorant use was exposed to the masses, the practice was stopped in April of 2012. You may not be saying “eww!”, but you may mind ingesting bugs without warning.
All the same, many manufactures use various items in products approved by the FDA that may create an adverse outcome. So you might want to do a little research to be certain you want to select all-natural vs. organic.
What about the term organic? Surely the FDA has a definition for that term on food labels. “No. The term “organic” is not defined by law or regulations FDA enforces.” Our collective understanding of organic is probably reflected best by the article posted on the Organic Milling website entitled, “7 Reasons to Eat Organic Food”. We all would do well to research what the product manufacturer or grower has in mind with they indicate their goods are organic.
All-Natural Versus Organic Thinking
All-natural vs. organic applies to our thinking too. We are given the tools to determine what type of thinking works best for us. Our thinking leads to our behavior, which frames our lives. Wherever you are in life today is directly related to your thinking. To change, or maintain the course of your life examine your thinking.
To examine our thinking we can verify with the resident authority for our lives; our Creator. When mankind was created, as indicated in Genesis, God created the first man in His image, and after His likeness. He called what was created very good. At that point there was no illness, ailments or disease. No pollutants or toxins. I call this our organic state. The possibilities for mankind included the best outcomes subject only to their thinking and actions.
Then certain decisions were made that were not in alignment with the righteous Creator. Choices that did not lead to a continuation of life in the garden free of illness, ailment and disease. This became the new natural or human way of thinking. I call this all-natural when it does not follow God’s prompting.
All-natural thinking is void of God’s influence. All-natural equals bugs in our thinking. We lose sight of what is loving toward God, ourselves, and our neighbors.
What we need is God’s SUPER on our natural. With His guidance, because of His love, we can return to that organic condition beginning here before we transition. As we follow His commands by seeking His kingdom and His way of doing and being right, we are promised all things will be added in the book of Matthew, chapter six, verse 33. His amazing grace allows us to experience the difference of His super natural organic love.
Perception is reality. All-natural versus organic what will result in your best life? It remains your choice.
Take Inventory and Take Action.
