An Excellent Bible Study Resource

I discovered “Bible Overview” after stumbling onto   the Rose Publishing site. I have a number of Bible reference tools and was interested by the titles they offered and the claim of Bible Study Made Easy.  When I got a chance to review the book I was drawn in from the introduction!

As I moved through its pages I found engaging text  easy to understand by the novice, while holding the interest of the seasoned Bible scholar. The beginning of the overview points out important keys to keep in mind as one moves on the exciting, transformational journey of examining the word of God.

Each book of the Old and New Testament is illustrated by a descriptive summary that is accompanied by an artist rendering or photograph. Images of artifacts are peppered throughout the text, bringing concepts and cultural themes to life. Significant terms and phrases are defined in a way that creates a seamless flow in the content. Easy to read maps and graphics allow the reader to connect deeply to the events.

There is a section in each summary that shows a direct link between then (what happened in Biblical times) and how those events carry over to now. This one highly, valuable, tool efficiently replaces three reference volumes currently in my library. I recommend this text to everyone interested in deepening their understating of God, His word and His Love!
